Happy Independence Day!
In case you haven’t heard, Governor Balin, er, Palin, got all mavericky again and gave her 3 weeks’ notice on Friday, July 3rd. Yep, she’s resigning. You betcha.
There’s not much else to say other than: WTF?
When I heard a “surprise” press conference had been scheduled, the first thought through my head was, “Hey, wouldn’t it [...]

Palin Strikes Back. Again. One More Time.
Our intrepid governor, Sarah Palin, has once again said, “Talk to the hand,” in response to the another name floated to fill Elton’s senate seat, Dennis Egan. Instead, she decided to ignore that and go all mavericky again and submit three names of her own to the Senate Democrats. And to add insult to – [...]

Ted Stevens is not necessarily “innocent”…
The District of Columbia has thrown out the sanctions on Ted Stevens’ law license in response to his conviction being overturned due to prosecutorial misconduct, meaning he can now practice law again in DC. This after Governor Sarah Palin asked newly elected Sen. Mark Begich to step down in light of Stevens’ charges being dropped.
Let [...]

New to the hit list: Comments
Take a look at Celtic Diva’s blog entry about Palin supporters rummaging through the comments made on Anchorage Daily News, looking for and reporting comments as offensive whenever they are anti-Palin, effectively silencing any and all opposing views.
Her entry makes a good point – it’s ironic when those who complain about infringements on our freedom [...]

Isn’t it ironic?
The other day I was thinking of a story I was assigned to read in elementary school meant to illustrate irony, “The Gift of the Magi.” I’m not sure what made me think of it, but I was intrigued by how it was simultaneously unfortunate, tragic, and humorous.
Last night, with that sort of tragic, humorous [...]

Terrorist? Aw, that’s just water under the Bridge to Nowhere…
Sarah Palin says she’d be honored to help Obama if he asked. Of course, she’s still concerned about that whole “pallin’ around with terrorists” thing, but heck, the campaign’s over. Why dwell on the past?
You can’t rule Palin out of an Obama administration. There are possibilities for her. For instance, what better choice than Palin [...]

Who’s this Todd fella?
Is it just me or does anyone else think it’s a little odd and disconcerting that “first dude” Todd Palin plays such an active role in the governor’s cabinet?
One of the findings reported in Steve Branchflower’s legislative investigation into Sarah Palin’s firing of Walt Monegan is that Mr. Palin, according to one of the governor’s [...]

Sarah Palin – Relatively Awesome
Ah, leave it to Alaska Robotics to produce a humorous, yet extremely relevant video about Sarah Palin. After all, they’ve set their sights on corrupt politicians and Frank Murkowski in the past, why should Palin escape?
The point they make about Sarah Palin is good – why does/did she have such high approval ratings in Alaska? [...]
