Gold Medal free throw contest to promote census
The Alaska Native Policy Center at First Alaskans Institute is sponsoring a free throw shooting contest Friday at the 64th Annual Juneau Lions Club Gold Medal Basketball Tournament to help increase Alaska Native participation in the 2010 Census.

The high hurdle of health care reform
Last year the House of Representatives and the Senate passed different versions of health care “reform.” But both houses need to pass identical bills before a measure can become law. The easiest way to accomplish that would be for the House to simply pass the Senate bill as is.
