More than 350 attend Love INC’s annual benefit auction

JUNEAU – More than 350 people attended Love In The Name of Christ’s fifth annual benefit auction on Friday at Centennial Hall. There were 110 donations ranging in value from $10 to over $600, including many delightful desserts.

The Alaska Association for Historic Preservation recently announced its awards and grant recipients: Lifetime Achievement Award went to Steve Peterson, of Anchorage; the Restoration Project Award went to Don Corwin, of Skagway; and the Ten Most Endangered Grant went to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Juneau.
