Cold temperatures stabilize steep hillside that slid Saturday into downtown neighborhood

Juneau resident Jessie Gertrude Herrold died peacefully Nov. 2, 2009. She was 83.

Lifelong Kake resident Archie James Cavanaugh Sr. died peacefully on Nov. 11, 2009, at the Bartlett Regional Hospital. He was 81.

Former Juneau resident Linda Mae Erwin died Oct. 20, 2009, in Salem, Ore. She was 72.

Juneau resident Virginia Beaumont Post died Nov. 3, 2009, in Bartlett Hospital in Juneau. She was 93.

Former Juneau resident Fredrick “Fred” Morgan Jr. died Sept. 24, 2009, in Anchorage. He was 70.
