Man guilty in shooting at Fairbanks bar
FAIRBANKS – It took a jury less than three hours to convict a man of attempted murder for gunning down his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend at a Fairbanks bar.

Channel fish float to close for repairs
JUNEAU – The vehicle ramp and fishing float at Wayside Park on Channel Drive will close for ramp bearing repairs beginning Monday. It will remain closed until the Juneau Docks and Harbors department completes the project.
