Yes, I have a hard time figuring out where this pick came from. How long was he with the City? What else is his claim to fame other than being born Native? And I don’t mean being married to his wife. It truly seems to be a random pick to plug a hole as quickly as possible without actually being effective. On Palin’s part, that is. I guess we’ll find out about Joe!

You gotta feel sorry for these people that are being tossed out there as “Boo-Yas!” by Palin. Grussendorf is done. If Nelson gets rejected, he’s done.
Feels like middle school…
But hey, at least Palin is being transparent, true to her word.

Seems as though the Guv is determined to thwart all attempts to get Beth into this seat (or anyone else with proven loyalties to Southeast). I cannot remember a previous governor (been here for 36 years so have seen a few) who had such a hatred for the panhandle in general and Juneau in particular.
