Gotta love SNL…
“I can see Russia from my house!” Awesome. Every once in a while, Saturday Night Live still produces a gem. It’s nothing like it was in the good ol’ days of Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, or Bill Murray, but still. Tina Fey did a perfect Sarah Palin: she nailed the accent, perfected the condescending finger point, and got in all sorts of good little quirks.
I guess not everyone found it so funny, though. According to this article, Gov Palin was watching the skit in her shiny new jet (a nice replacement for that one that was not sold on eBay). While all the reporters were in the back laughing at Fey’s near perfect impersonation, “there was reportedly silence from the front of the plane.”
Oh well, you can’t make everyone happy, right?
